A rare opportunity to meet Naoto Mizuno, the 8th generation owner of "Kokuryu Sake" and enjoy a magical sake pairing with dinner!

Founded in 1804, Kokuryu Sake is undeniably the leading sake brewery in Japan that has embodied a simple yet powerful motto: "If we make good sake, people will support it". This philosophy has guided the company in its centuries-long journey and has remained the heart of the brewery. Chef Mitsu has prepared a special tasting menu to pair with multiple exclusive sake that is not normally available in the US, with the highlight being Kokuryu's top 'MUNI' bottling. MUNI translates to "no second", and represents the pinnacle of Kokuryu's sake making that is only made in select vintages and reflects the singularity of the year. Every MUNI bottle is aged for at least 5 years but has the potential for decade-long maturation. Other highlights include 'Kokuryu Ishidaya', a Junmai Daiginjo with unparalleled mellowness due to gentle aging, and Kokuryu's answer to sparkling sake: ‘ESHIKOTO AWA Extra Dry 2020.’ Select top-tier wines will also be poured for side-by-side tasting comparisons!
