A Special Evening of Château d’Yquem w/ Pierre Lurton & Guillaume Galliot(Caprice***)

To celebrate the release of the new vintage, l’abeille in New York will host a special collaboration, bringing together Guillaume Galliot (Caprice, Hong Kong)***, the very first member of this exclusive Lighthouse community, and Mitsunobu Nagae, chef of the most recent Lighthouse. The pioneer and the latest addition, together for an unforgettable evening. Pierre Lurton, President of Château d’Yquem and Château Cheval Blanc will be an honored guest for this special evening.

In addition to toasting the newest Yquem 2022 release, highlights of the evening will include the Yquem 1990, which is currently showing at an evolutionary highpoint, with balanced notes of botrytis such as honey and orange, supported by graceful acidity; Yquem 2005, which is an iconic vintage and is touted for its perfect balance with a glorious tension; and finally a rare opportunity to taste Yquem 1945 which will finish our evening with a window on how this post WWII wine has developed over time.
